Nov. Thirteenth

Today we are researching Adobe Illustrator. I learned that Adobe Illustrator CS3 (creative suite 3) recently came out; an updated version of this software. Adobe Illustrator is a program which can is used for design and publishing. Illustrator is a vector-based postscript drawing program. It functions by generating curved paths (Bezier curves) connected by modifiable anchor points. A vector based drawing program creates the various elements of the image as individual vector objects which retain their characteristics and do not become part of a "bitmap". (A bitmap is an image represented as a 2-D array of brightness values for pixels. Researching Adobe Illustrator relates to TEKS 2(d), identifying and describing the roles of computer technology, and 4(b), conducting research and experimentation in computer technology.
